Spiced Truffles

OMG this is so so easy to make. I just made them. They taste delicious and I’ve to share this recipe with you.

All you need is:

  • 200g walnuts
  • 2/3 cup raisins
  • 2/3 cup pitted dates
  • 2/3 cup cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons ground star anise
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • pinch of Himalayan salt
  • 2 tablespoons water

Combine all ingredients in food processor.

Process until sticky and slightly crumbly.

Roll dough in your hand to form small balls.

Roll the balls over dried coconut flakes, chia seeds, sesame seeds etc ( optional)

Share and enjoy πŸ™‚ Β

Additional info: Cacao is a super food. It’s a great source of magnesium, antioxidants, and iron. Most chocolate bars are packed with added sugar. Those truffles balance cacao’s rich flavor with hint os spice and touch of natural sweetness.

I presume Milton Keynes? I have friends near there, both vegetarian. Let me know when you are in Birmingham and I can give pointers. Best is Natural Healthy Food opposite the Mailbox. Quite new, buffet service, all vegan and sugar free, only cooked in coconut oil and Himalayan salt used. It has a shop attached also.
