Summer is around the corner. I love vegetables and fruits and I always try to buy seasonal produce. I’m giving you three reasons why you should consider buying your vegetables and fruits when they are in season.
They have more nutrients.
From the moment product is picked from the earth the nutrients starts to diminish. Buying local seasonal means it has more nutrients value than the product that is shipped from another country.
They have more flavour
Have you noticed that strawberries taste better and sweeter in season? It’s the same with any other fruit or vegetable. That’s why restaurants nowadays switching their menus every season.
They are more Affordable,
As they grow more coz they in season the demand decreases hence the price drop as well.
