Homemade Turmeric Latte 💛🌱

Turmeric latte also known as Golden milk is one of my favourite drinks recently. It’s creamy and sweet, just delicious. If you want to have a break from perhaps drinking coffee, you could try this instead!

My version is made in Vitamix. However, if you don’t have it, you could do it in any high speed blender and use hot water or heat it in the pan.

Before we start with the recipe I want to mention that turmeric is a true wonder spice. It contains curcumin which is loaded with antioxidants, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. Also, to enhance the amazing health benefits of turmeric we should add a pinch of black pepper.

Seriously guys, I’ve tried this delicious, healthy, and inexpensive drink few times when I was out and about. But my home version is the best and it has no refined sugar.

Even my partner who is ‘not a fan of turmeric, enjoys this latte!

Here is what you need for two cups of golden milk:

– 2 cups of water

– Handful of cashews

– 2 cocoa butter drops or 1 tsp coconut oil

– 6 pitted dates

– 1 tsp turmeric powder (add less first because half may be enough for you)

– Pinch of black pepper

– 1/2 tsp cinnamon

– 1/4 tsp ginger

Put all ingredients in vitamix and blend until warm! When it’s ready pour in your favourite cups and enjoy with your loved one!
